Inzin #0: Procesiranje
Zine
Inzin #0, titled Procesiranje (english: Processing), was created as part of the study group Up Close: Photography as a Way of Seeing. It is intended as a public presentation of the materials, projects, and reflections of the group’s participants, tutors, and mentors on a selected theme.
The freshly printed pilot issue was conceived experimentally and includes projects by five participants and one participant from previous workshops who took on the role of tutors during this academic year: Ana Marwan, Julija Hoda, Olga Lipič, Una Rebić, Ana Geršak, and Marijan Močivnik. Their photographic images intertwine with poetic reflections on photography, everyday life, and relationships, while the connecting thread throughout the publication is the process itself.

“Here we connect through a shared interest that unites us – or has begun to unite us – photography. It can be the process we experienced during or after Up Close, or it can take the form of a new analysis, reflection, stream of thought, or simply photographs,” explained Metod Blejec, one of the five mentors of the group.
The entire collective of the study group Up Close hopes to continue publishing the Inzin in the future, enabling participants to present their photographic works and projects – developed under the attentive guidance of mentors and tutors – to a wider audience in printed form as well.
The mentoring team of Up Close consists of Metod Blejec, Saša Kralj, Matevž Paternoster, Janja Rebolj, and Dr. Marija Skočir. More about the group’s work and programme can be found here.
