Ulay and Marina Abramović filled dozens of diaries and sketchbooks during their twelve years of collaboration – intimate archives of thoughts, conflicts, love, concepts, and performative visions. The ART VITAL exhibition unveils fragments of these hidden worlds, while the ART VITAL x Moleskine notebooks invite you to create your own.
The first special edition is a hardcover notebook designed as a mirrored object, or, more poetically, a Siamese twin, as Ulay and Marina sometimes described themselves. No matter from which side you open it, the form remains the same.
The second edition features two separate softcover notebooks: two independent entities connected by a simple crossed band, like two paths that may diverge yet still form a whole.
